Riskiest Domains
What country’s domain is considered the riskiest? Security software firm McAfee recently issued a report that names Cameroon’s domain of .cm as the riskiest domain to visit with 36.7% of the domain posing a security risk. Romain (.ro) with 21% and China (.cn) with 18.6% round out the top three riskiest domains. The fourth and fifth riskiest domains were the generic .info (15.2%) and .biz (6.8%). The least riskiest domain is the Government domain (.gov) with 0.0%. Japan is the least riskiest country domain (.jp) with 0.1%, followed by the educational domain (.edu) then Ireland (.ire) both also ranked at 0.1%.
