We are migrating from ArcView to My World for our elementary and junior high school students, training their teachers with a college course.
Our “My World” program now includes more than 650 students and has added 11 new data libraries.
My World Version 5 has been released. We have expanded our work in historical GIS at the 8th grade level with specialties in the Revolutionary War, Lewis & Clark Expedition, Westward Expansion and the Civil War. Our data sets now include federal censuses for 1790, 1800, 1840 and 1860.
