Map of ESRI Attendees

ESRI has posted a map of attendees at the ESRI International User Conference (seen via All Points Blog).  The maps plots out the location of the over 13,000 attendees from 123 countries around the world.

Zoom in close and rubberband a location to get a tabuler count of attendees by city – you have to zoom in close enough as the application won’t spit back results over 500 attendees.

I’m surprised that it took until now for ESRI to visualize this information and post it for all to explore.

  1. A couple of odd things – there is no wrapping the date-time line (flat earth?) and I don’t see any KML, GeoRSS, or even CSV sharing of the data (aggregated of course, to protect privacy).
