Hayman Fire, Colorado Image

NASA’s Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (Aster) recently captured images of the Hayman fire burning in Colorado which has burned around 100,000 acres thus far. In the image, the blue areas are burned vegetation and healthy forest is in the green area. The fire areas are in red. The white areas are overhanging clouds.
