A comment from Lex Berman highlights the availability of Haitian GIS data at the Earthquake Geospatial Research Portal based out of Harvard:

We will host additional data, esp. hydrography, transport and DEM if you can supply them for free academic and emergency use.

    I really liked your pictures of haiti and thought they were very distingushed. I am a member of a g.i.s group at my middle school.
