  1. Wondering what program is best for running GIS on a MAC. I am a geologist and student in GIS 101. So far I have heard VM Fusion and Parallels are two programs that allow one to Windows-specific programs on a MAC but no info on which one works best or if there are any others out there. Thank you for your time in reply. Martha
