Geomatics Industry Association
Central site for Canadian information on resources employment and news for geomatics.

GeoSpatial Data Warehouse
On-line queries of geospatial data at 1:1000000 scale.

The National Soil DataBase (NSDB)
Soils, landscape and climate coverages for all of Canada. Datasets available as ArcInfo export (.e00) files.

  1. Why not add provincial sources for GIS data? For example, a wealth of spatial data for British Columbia is available from the Land and Resource Data Warehouse (lrdw.ca). Access to the data requires free registration on the site.

  2. I noticed that you do not have two of the more popular Canadian GIS Resource sites listed that I use on a daily basis. CanadianGIS.com offers information on GIS education, industry and much more and GISjobs.ca has all the latest info on Canadian jobs in GIS with free workshops and information to help young GIS professionals.

    You should check them out and add them above for others to share.
