Asking for Directions


Here’s a concept foreign to most that work in the GIS field: go on a trip and find your way around without the help of maps or GPS units. Dzido Szoltysek and Paul Todd are planning to do just that when they travel to Ireland and will rely on directions from locals as they make their way around the country. The two have made trips before to England, India and other countries without the use of maps and they blog about their adventures on their “Real Men Ask for Directions” site.
